The IAL remains committed to providing education to the laryngectomy community during these uncertain times. We are pleased to announce a second virtual meeting on Friday, October 2, 2020. This 3.5 hour meeting will focus on swallowing difficulties and nutrition post-laryngectomy, including esophageal stricture and reflux.

- State primary nutrition goals for the head and neck cancer patient
- Describe the nutrition management of short-term and long-term side effect related to surgery and treatment
- State resources for the person with head and neck surgery
- Discuss the physiology of swallowing following total laryngectomy
- Discuss common causes of dysphagia after laryngectomy
- Describe procedural and surgical interventions for management of dysphagia after laryngectomy
